We will meet in Putney at Church Square, next to St Mary's Church, and set off along the Thames Path route. The walk is approximately 10 miles long.
Beginning near the starting point of the famous Oxford and Cambridge boat race, we continue along the Putney Embankment. Further down the river takes us past Fulham football club. Beyond Beverley Brook the path takes a more rural feel and the concrete paths soon turn into wet and muddy walk ways.

Our well deserved break takes place at a well known German restaurant along the river called Stein's.

After lunch, we continue along the path towards Thames Path to Ham House, then up the bridle way to Ham Common finishing in Richmond.
