This friendly club, based in a superb setting on the Thames at Chiswick Pier, was formed in 1999. The club is well established, with at least 150 members, regularly taking to the water.
The club is very busy, with a variety of disciplines being catered for including touring, white water (freestyle, river running and kayak surfing) and junior canoe polo.
The club has been helped and supported by Chiswick Pier Trust, Sport England, the BCU, Active Ealing, Hounslow CIP and the London Marathon Trust. The Chiswick Pier Canoe Club also works with Kayackojacko -a local company committed to coaching excellence in many types of canoeing thus helping to expand the programme of activities available at the Club.
New members of any age or ability are always welcome. Assistance is provided to take people as far as they want to go in different parts of the sport. The Club is committed to developing all aspects of canoeing and helping people to make more use of the Thames.
