| New Easyjet flights to Majorca |
Thursday 17 May 2007 |
Popular Spanish holiday destination Majorca is being served by a new air-route, courtesy of Easyjet.
The flights from Edinburgh airport to the sunny spot were launched by the low-cost airline over the recent bank holiday weekend.
Operating twice a week to Majorca's capital city Palma, they are currently available from £53.98 return, including taxes.
Easyjet noted: "Palma is the elegant and cosmopolitan capital of Mallorca, the largest of the Balearic Islands, and is known for its beaches, climate, cultural and traditional influences.
"The warm climate of Palma makes it a popular destination, with something for everyone."
The carrier also launched a new daily route from London Luton airport to Ibiza priced at £53.98 return or £31.98 one way.
Majorca is one of the most beautiful islands in Europe, and is a great place to visit for rest and relaxations or for exhilarating outdoor pursuits.
Teeming with beaches, bars, restaurants, mountain villages, monasteries, caves, churches castles and cathedrals, there is always something to see and something do!
