| Mallorca's sun attracts property investors |

Mallorca is proving to be increasingly popular with foreign property investors because of the Spanish island's warm and sunny climate.
According to a report in the travel section of the International Herald Tribune, Mallorca's "natural beauty and varied housing stock" have helped build its reputation as a good place for investment among German and British buyers.
Citing figures from the 2007 market report by Mallorcan real estate agencies Kuhn & Partner, the paper notes that the island's property values increased 214 per cent in the period from 1999 to 2005.
The report noted: "Once Majorca gets the same excellent reputation in other countries as it currently has in Germany or England, then one can expect another increase in real estate prices and values."
Aside from its attraction as a permanent residence, Mallorca is also a fantastic holiday destination. A visit to this fun-filled island will almost certainly never be dull, with endless opportunities to indulge in outdoor pursuits such as sailing, diving and wind surfing, as well as the chance to enjoy cultural and historical sightseeing and eat in a variety of restaurants.
