| Budapest to stage Croatian evening |

A "Croatian evening" will be held in Budapest tomorrow (Thursday April 19th) in a bid to boost the number of Hungarian visitors to Croatia.
The event is part of "Croatian days," a programme of activities which traditionally takes place in Budapest in the middle of April, and will be hosted by the Croatian National Tourist Board (HTZ), javno.com reports.
Last year, 403,000 Hungarian tourists visited Croatia, a ten per cent decrease year on year, while the number of visitors who had prolonged stays in the country fell by nine per cent to 2.2 million.
HTZ is expecting tour operators, representatives of the Hungarian media and agencies from political, cultural and social life in Budapest to attend the event, which is to be held at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
Spring is a wonderful time to visit Budapest, a city which is situated on the river Danube and which features leafy parks, stunning architecture, beautiful bathhouses and an array of eateries and entertainment establishments.
