| Bank holiday fun in the Cotswolds |

A village in the Cotswolds is preparing for an arts and crafts festival which will raise money for the restoration of the local church.
Residents in Blockley have been invited to showcase a whole host of talents, ranging from music and poetry to baking and knitting, at St Peter's Church, the Cotswold Journal reports.
Entry to the festival will be free, but there is a suggested donation of £5 for the church's £150,000 restoration fund.
The festival, which will take place over the forthcoming bank holiday weekend, is the idea of vicar Grahame Humphries and his wife, Mary.
Revd Humphries told the paper: "The event is picking up on the incredible range of talents there are in the community, and we're inviting people to bring examples of their work to exhibit in the church and also inviting people to come and view them."
The festival will begin with a concert by Blockley Brass Band at 6.45pm on Friday May 4th.
Anyone planning to visit to Blockley, or indeed any part of the Cotswolds, during the bank holiday weekend will not be disappointed, as the entire locale has been designated An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
