We start in the beautiful old town of Burford, (there is a car park signposted behind the High Street) and we assemble for registration at the lovely medieval bridge at the bottom of the High Street at 10.30 for a 11 pm departure. We then walk through the village of Fulbrook, and then across beautiful Cotswold countryside to the former medieval village of Widford. From there we go to throrugh the quaint village of Swinbrook (where Nancy Mitford is buried) to the Swan which nestles on the river Windrush and does lovely food. We then retrace our steps to Widford, and from there we follow along the banks of the lovely river Windrush back to Burford.
