What makes up the magic of the cities in Friuli Venezia Giulia is the difference in the history of these places: Celts, Romans, Longobards, the Republic of Venice and the Hapsburgs all had an influence on the region.

You will be staying at the 3 stars Italia Hotel in Trieste, a city that stands out over the blue sea and sky on the furthest patch of the Italian Adriatic.
When you walk through the streets of Trieste with its austere style, reminiscent of Vienna, stop and breathe the Mittel-European atmosphere of its cafés and walk along the same streets James Joyce walked.

The surrounding areas of the city offer numerous entertainment and exploration possibilities such as the Miramare castle, the Gulf with its little beaches or the Giant Cave, a tourist cavity without equal anywhere in the world.

Trieste is a very lively city, with many cafes, shops and a great nightlife especially during summer! Take sometime to walk in Piazza Unita', the largest square in Europe which overlooks the sea. It is considered one of the main meeting points among locals.

San Daniele set in the hills, is a little town internationally known thanks to the local production of raw ham.

The charming city of Cividale is one of Friuli’s jewels. It contains all the best this area can offer from a historical-cultural point of view. Cividale is known above all for the remains dating back to the Roman Age.
But to experts, it is one of most important areas in Italy for wine production.
During this trip you will visit a ham factory, you will learn why the San Daniele Ham is so special and you will have the chance to taste it of course!
