Set high in the Pyrenees mountains, Andorra is blessed with an excellent range of skiing for all abilities. Pas de la Casa is a high altitude village at 2050m and the highest, sunniest and most snow-sure resort in Andorra. It has skiing to suit most ability levels but is particularly suited to beginners and intermediates.

Over 270kms of skiing is available in total, ranging from very easy nursery and green slopes which are ideal for beginners, to off-piste 'steeps' in Arcalís and Soldeu (conditions permitting).Your Grand Valira ski pass covers all 192km of runs in the Pyrenees.

Snowboarders are also well catered for. There is a half-pipe and boarder-cross in Grau Roig and El Tarter and a snowboard park in the central descent area of Pas de la Casa. The various mountain restaurants offer a great selection of food, and at much lower prices than you’ll find in the big French resorts.

Pas de la Casa is the most lively resort in Andorra for bars and nightlife. For Apres Ski the Kamikaze Surf Bar is not to be missed. For after hours entertainment we can recommend Billboard and the El Pandero, with many more to try out. Drinks here are much cheaper than in France or Switzerland.

The Hotel

The Hotel is the Refugi dels Isards. It's a 3 star hotel approximately 200m from the ski slopes and the chair lift. Each room has a full bathroom (bath and shower), hairdryer, tv, safe and telephone. The hotel has its own restaurant and a bar where guests you can table football, billiards and darts. There are also free ski lockers and a free Internet access point. A laundry service is also available at the hotel.
